We’re teeny tiny, and brand new, but there’s always something going on at Heavens to Betsy, most of which you can keep up with by following us on Instagram. But we’ll post things here as well, so you won’t have to go rummaging around that kitchen junk drawer known as the internet.

Heavens to Betsy exhibits at the 2024 Northwest Chocolate Festival.

In October this year (2024) we were an official exhibitor at the Northwest Chocolate Festival in Bellevue, Washington. It was our first foray into the wider chocolate show world — an experience defined by 1) what we learned, 2) how gracious and friendly the attendees and exhibitors were, and 3) the most popular word at the show…which was “wow.” We heard that from literally every person that tasted Heavens to Betsy. Makes us want to go back next year.

I gave Heavens to Betsy to my work colleagues. They were over the moon. A common refrain was that the jar was literally GONE in two days. Spoonfuls of the chocolate and on top of ice cream were the bomb.

There comes a time in every woman's life... and this is it.

There was a time in my life when searching for the perfect hot fudge sauce was tantamount to breathing, but after a few months of banging my tastebuds against the wall I started thinking I could do better myself. It took a good portion of a calendar year to perfect Heavens to Betsy, and a while longer to bring it to market. Lots of hard work for sure, but it was 100% worth it for a variety of good reasons, not the least of which is that one flavor or another seems to have drawn a smile on the faces of more than a few chocolate lovers. If you are among them, I offer an enthusiastic thank you for your gracious support and, in some cases, your passion for Heavens to Betsy. Unfortunately, I have removed my apron and left the kitchen for the last time and our sauces are no longer in production. I hope your love of a great hot fudge sauce leads you to your next Heavens to Betsy and, again, please accept my heart felt gratitude for all your support. Best wishes.
